MERCI BEAUCOUP!
Dearest LICK,
THANK YOU for the package! It was the best mail I've ever received here! You know, it's funny because I didn't have the best of week, and I felt kinda crappy today. Steph told me she got a package from you guys, so I went to check my mail. Seriously, my heart was beating faster when I got the package. I took the tshirt out and held it up to look at it, and I think this girl was watching hehe. And then I saw many little notes in the envelope. I read them all, I stared at them! You guys...! They were all very very sweet! I couldn't have asked for a better surprise. And God timed it so well! He knew I needed that package today.
So then, I decided to write this entry to tell you guys how much it meant to me and how I absolutely loved it! You guys are awesome! I was talking to my friend yesterday (or more like early early this morning) about how different it feels to hang out with Christian friends. And I thought of you, of our sentosa outing, of the 'bbq' at Eman's, of parents' appreciation night, of walking from kallang to my house and climbing that fence, and of the countless fridays spent at Ama's place. And I missed you! You guys know I love you, but I think today I fell in love with my beautiful cell all over again =). Thanks for being so thoughtful lickites! See you all very very soon!!!
ps: I'm bringing the shirt and the notes to dinner later so that I can show them to my friends!
